Vista didn't function for me until I installed FOUR GIGABYTES of memory- and
this was on a brand new laptop with a core 2 duo processor. Hordes of users are
fleeing to Linux to escape Vista, which is actually a downgrade from XP.
I would live in Naruto as a seamstress in a kimono shop. I would appear for 15
seconds in one episode, without being named, to help a female character look at
kimono. After that, I would not appear in the series again. While none of the
Naruto fans would know my name, plenty of artists would rip the design of my
kimono to use for low-grade fan art of more popular characters.
Or, I might work in the Konoha ramen shop. I'd be a backup character for the two
main ones who work there. Again, no name, but this time I'd have more fans. And
I'd get free noodles.
Suicide is never the answer. As long as a person is alive, their life can get
better- but if they die, how could they ever be happy? God gives a person
purpose and joy. He treasures every life and has a plan- a plan for peace and
prosperity- for everyone. If they die, then they can't achieve that
plan.
Spiritual issues aside, suicide causes terrible pain for those left behind. Even
if someone thinks that no one cares, there is ALWAYS SOMEONE who loves them and
is hurt by losing them. They live on and always ask themselves what they could
have done to save the friend/relative that they lost. They want to ask questions
about why the victim took their own life and if it was their fault, but the dead
person isn't there to answer them.
Suicide doesn't just murder the victim- it also causes a wave of pain among
everyone that knew them. At its heart, suicide is the most selfish and cowardly
way to die. It's one person saying that they want to give up and they don't care
who it hurts. I've seen the results that suicide has on the survivors. No one
should be forced to suffer through that.
There is ALWAYS hope for someone, as long as they are alive. How many heroes
have risen from seeming failure to become something great? If they had given up,
then their lives would have ended in failure. Sadness, like every other negative
force, can be overcome.
These are my favorites. Even if I hate an anime or have never watched it, I
usually buy the soundtracks if Iwasaki or Kajiura do the music. Kanno Yoko is a
mixed bag (for me, at least.) Some of her work I love- but some of it I find
ear-grating. I think that it's because she has such a wide range of styles.
That's probably part of her genius.
Quote by DarkRoseofHellWhat I
think, though I'm not a crazy religions major or something like that, I find
them both the pretty similar. They both have similar ideas and stuff as
that.
Just on a note, don't just think that Islam is just all terrorist and stuff like
that, those are the extremist and same goes with Christianity such as the KKK.
(not refering to anyone but just note this is for ignorant people to
read)
The KKK are ABSOLUTELY not Christians! Where on earth did you get a ridiculous
idea like that? The majority of those who fought to end slavery and get equal
rights for all races in America were Christians whose motivation was their love
for humanity and belief in the Bible's teaching in equality. Any half-way decent
book on the subject will mention that.
Some of the KKK claim to be Christians in order to (usually unsuccessfully,
thank God) gain support from the largely religious population in the southern
states where their organization is based. However, even the heirarchy and titles
in the KKK are based in the occult and every single one of the tenets of their
beliefs is directly oppposite to what is in the Bible.
I speak of what I know- I've read through the New Testament more than 30 times
in the past 2 years. Nowhere does it encourage racism, and in fact a great
number of the books in it deal with treating other races with love and
tolerance.
PLEASE don't confuse real Christians with those fools in the KKK. They wouldn't
know God if He landed on their heads.
70+, or perhaps even older... Into her late 70s, my grandmother was more active
and involed in more projects than any other member of the family. The only thing
that eventually slowed her down a bit was having to recover from an automobile
crash.
It really depends on what usage of the word "old" is the intended one,
however. Exactly how would you define it? :?
Every culture I've ever heard of, across the globe, has some sort of dragon-like
creature in their myths-from the ancient Aztecs to the Europeans to the
Japanese. Perhaps they were inspired by dinosaurs... but they must have been
inspired by SOMETHING, because every culture has dragons in its myths.
...Either way, I'm glad that there aren't any dinosuars now. The little-bitty
ones might be okay, but I wouldn't want to have a T-Rex wandering about in my
front yard. ^^;
Quote by mireya2If he quits his
girlfriend for you, the guy is not worth a penny. He could do the same to you
someday.
If you go and tell him and he's really in love, he'll only break your heart, and
you hardly will have another chance.
What you can do is watch how his relationship is doing. It'll eventually come
your opportunity, in a point when his relationship is down.
And you can watch him closely. How he REALLY IS. Perhaps you'll discover that
he's not the guy you thougth as "the perfect guy". And you'll save
yourself a lot of pain.
You can become friend of his friends. Better yet, friend of one of his siblings.
And eventually become his friend.
Be patient as the wild cat that watches its prey during
hours.
There is some serious wisdom there. Guys that dump one woman often later abandon
their new one. There are plenty of men out there-enough that women can be picky
about what they want. I believe that for everyone, there's a right person out
there... You needn't settle for second-best: that only leads to heartache. I
personally would pray before making ANY major decision; and if something doesn't
work out, then it means that there's something better waiting down the road.
...I would probably choose Kitajima Maya from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Not only does the
manga say that Kurama is in love with her and she therefore has a free
bodyguard, but she develops supernatural powers, which probably strengthen over
time. If the series hadn't been hacked short by a dispute with Togashi's
editors, Maya would have probably ended up being a powerful character. Also, she
doesn't get beaten up/die/have a tragic past the way so many characters do. I
REALLY like living.
They shouldn't have been sniffing glue... but my opinion, however politically
incorrect it may be, is that the guilty man should be dragged into the street
and publicly shot. There is absolutely no excuse for hurting a little girl like
that. Even if she was a total reprobate (I am not saying that
she was!,) she didn't deserve that! In the old days, problems with guys like
that were solved with a shotgun or really long knife...
